Truveta governance model
Truveta is owned and governed by a growing collective of more than 30 health systems, that provide 17% of the daily clinical care across the US. They deliver daily updated data from nearly 100 million patients in all 50 states from more than 800 hospitals and 20,000 clinics.
Truveta receives ongoing guidance to ensure the company is operating in pursuit of the shared mission of Saving Lives with Data, including its health system led Board of Directors and Board of Governors, who provide strategic, scientific, and operational direction on specific areas of expertise.

Ethics & Health Equity Committee
The Ethics & Health Equity Committee provides strategic guidance and feedback on Truveta’s adherence to its mission, appropriate ethical standards, including the Truveta Ethics Policy, and the advancement of health equity. Such strategic guidance and feedback may include, but is not limited to, recommendations with respect to promoting an ethical organizational culture, guiding the development of an equitable and inclusive dataset, advocating for diversity and inclusion best practices, monitoring adherence to the missions and values of the Truveta’s health system investors, and measuring Truveta’s impact as it relates to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, including the level of research intensity on diseases impacting BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and LGBTQA+ populations.
Research Committee
The Research Committee provides strategic guidance and feedback related to the clinical and scientific integrity of the Company’s products and services, including providing review and recommendations regarding Truveta’s sponsored research activities. The Research Committee is tasked with periodically reviewing Truveta’s product features and promoting clinical and scientific rigor and innovation in the product roadmap. The Research Committee meetings may include feature demos, opportunities for product testing, design reviews, and customer research debriefs.
Communications Committee
The Communications Committee provides strategic guidance on Truveta’s marketing strategy and communications, including external public relations strategy, execution plans, and internal communications for member health systems. The Communications Committee may provide review and recommendation regarding the public relations roadmap, communication materials, and joint efforts to help ensure positive thought leadership and aligned preparation.
Tech Innovation Committee
The Tech Innovation Committee provides strategic guidance on Truveta’s curation and delivery of a high value, high quality data corpus, with a focus on data, technology, and information management. The Tech Innovation Committee will integrate recommendations from the Security Commission and Data Integration Commission into the Committee’s holistic guidance.
The Government Affairs & Social Responsibility Committee
The Government Affairs & Social Responsibility Committee provides strategic guidance on Truveta’s engagement strategy with regulators, political officials, and political advisory groups, including, without limitation, providing review and recommendation regarding public-facing materials and any political contributions, such as expenditures relating to political parties, candidates for public office, political organizations, and trade and industry associations that are engaged in political activity. The Government Affairs & Social Responsibility Committee also provides strategic guidance on Truveta’s social responsibility programs including, but not limited to, its philanthropic initiatives, environmental stewardship, and contributions to public health and safety.
The Security & Privacy Committee
The Security & Privacy Committee provides strategic guidance on the protection of health data assets and technologies across Truveta.
The Data Integration Committee
The Data Integration Committee provides strategic guidance on data ingestion and Health System Embassy integration.

Audit & Compliance Committee
The Audit & Compliance Committee governs the accounting and financial reporting processes of Truveta, the integrity of the financial reports and other financial information, the audits of Truveta’s financial statements, information security processes, and compliance with its policies and legal and regulatory requirements.
Compensation Committee
The Compensation governs all compensation matters. The committee reviews and advises the Board concerning industry benchmarks used to set compensation for all employees as well as the company-wide and leadership team diversity benchmarks.
